The bottom clamp they sent us is the correct 33mm version. We have both sets in stock side by side to compare. The slide tube one is significantly larger, and even at fully clamped the pole wobbles in it (ours clamped snuggly to the pole but not ftg). The culprit was indeed the FTG for us. one one-thousand of an inch is a lot when it comes to something like the OD of an ftg

Bump. So how did you guys fix this issue? I just swapped in a HD FTG i had laying around onto my 40 and as much as i am cranking down the clamp, it will not grab. Did the tape around the FTG work? I know it is not the best solution, but easy and quick lol.

Just an FYI. Spoke to DDM today and it appears that it is not the HD FTG but is the race poles. They have been trying to figure this out and said that they measured a slight difference in the race poles inner Diameter. They are sending me a replacement race pole to see if this solves the issue. Man is DDM Great!

I would be interested in the faulty pole, let me know.

They are requesting that i send back the faulty pole, if that ends up being the case. Fingers crossed as that would be the easiest fix.

Let me know when you try the new one out. If it works I'm going to send 2 of mine in as well, thanks!

Just wanted to follow up. I did recieve a new race pole from ddm, definitely a different version compared to the original one. This one appears to be much more snug and does not allow any play. Problem fixed!
