Sorry Boz, I didn't see you PM until now. I was gonna reply what D said...

You could add a little more castor if you wanted. I would recommend boxing in the knuckle for more rigidity. You can see what I mean in my first picture.

How much farther should I go? It’s exactly 7 degrees right now. Should I go a full 14?

I can give you the degrees on my quad when I get home in a couple of hours.

I gotta decompress after work first.

That would be awesome. Everyone I know with a quad doesn’t have a way to measure. Thanks!

Leave it as is and run it.

But I agree with Scooter ****, box in the knuckles.
You can also add collars both top and bottom. This will take slip out of the spindles.

So it won’t make a huge difference? I don’t want this thing to be plowing through corners

I am over $70+ in bar tab(s), but I think my angle gauge says around 14-16 of castor on my SQG.

Take this with grains of salt and a lime....just like I have for the past couple of hours.

I don't know how much of a difference another 7 will make in steering, but I know I am in no shape to be "quoted for truth" at the moment. I can try again tomorrow....with more sobriety.

That’s good enough for me. It obviously is way more castor than I currently have. I’m thinking I’ll go another 5-7 degrees and call it good.

Ended up at a full 14 degrees and boxed in the turnbuckles or whatever they’re called. Thanks for the info guys. All that’s left now is to figure out seat mounting.
